In today's world, we recognize the struggle our college students and young adults face in their everyday and spiritual lives.  As Christians, we understand how difficult it is to go through life with out Jesus at the wheel.  While we can not imagine "not" having God in our lives, there are many who do not know the feeling of God's presence working wonders in their lives.  Some have never had the opportunity to learn about the Lord and his promises for those who believe in him and have a relationship with him.  For others, they have a firm belief, but find it increasingly difficult to grow and share that faith in the worldly atmosphere of college or during the beginning a new career.  Our College & Careers Ministry began in January of 2021 with the goal of helping those college & graduate students, no matter where they are on their faith journey...the beginning, middle or end...to have the opportunity to have Jesus in their life. 

 

So what does the College & Careers Ministry do?

First, the program is designed to reach out to those college & graduate students who may have not witnessed God's undying love and blessings in their life.  The program seeks to introduce Jesus through teaching of the gospel, help guide the individual as they develop a personal and healthy relationship with our Lord by providing the tools and knowledge to grow, and most importantly, to provide support and encouragement in a Christian atmosphere through fellowship with other college students, activities, classes and individualized guidance.

 

Secondly, for those college & graduate students that have a relationship with God already, we strive to provide a place where they can continue to fellowship with other Christians, share their journey of faith with others and grow in their own faith, knowledge and relationship with the Lord.

Our College & Careers Ministry team strives to:

• plan activities that are fun and have a meaningful message.

• provide a safe and relaxing atmosphere in which students can get to know one another, fellowship together and share in their journey of faith.

• offer classes and learning opportunities for personal and spiritual growth.
